Studies&Me contributes to the development of new medical treatments by collecting health information from voluntary participants. When you sign up for a clinical study via Studies&Me’s study specific landing page, you consent to Studies&Me contacting you regarding possible participation in a questionnaire survey or in a clinical study. At the same time, you consent to Studies&Me passing on your health and contact information to the research clinic closest to you All sign ups can be deleted at any time by Studies&Me at your request (support@studiesandme.com). By registering for the database, you agree to receive e-mails, SMS and phone calls from Studies&Me or the research clinic which you are referred to, for the purpose of service announcements regarding meeting times, possibly fasting visits or other study-relevant reminders when participating in a study. If you no longer want to receive e-mails, SMS or phone calls, you can unsubscribe from the service at any time. Questionnaire surveys and clinical studies are not mandatory, and you can refuse to participate in them at any time. Storage and other processing of your information in our database is encrypted. By signing up you consent to Studies&Me collecting personal data from you for the purpose of processing this to pursue the aims mentioned above i.e. to contact you regarding possible participation in a questionnaire survey or in a clinical study. By signing up, you agree to all the terms of the consent. Any profile can be deleted at any time. If your profile is deleted, the data will be deleted permanently. If there are changes to our terms, you will receive an e-mail about this. You subsequently have the option of either accepting the changes or deleting your profile.

We process your personal data for the following purposes: Studies&Me collects your personal data to determine whether you are eligible or not for participating in a questionnaire survey or clinical study. It is noted that the terms for possible participation including consent to the collection of your personal data for this specific purpose, will appear in a separate declaration of consent that you will receive if you wish to participate. If we asses you as eligible for possible participation, we will contact you by e-mail, SMS or phone call. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is the consent you have given in connection with your sign up.
We only process the categories of personal data about you that are stated in introduction to this declaration of consent.
We do not pass on or entrust your personal data to any companies or persons outside our organization, except for staff at external research clinics that you might be assigned to for your participation.
The personal data that is processed originates solely from you and is obtained when you sign up for a clinical study.
We store your personal data for as long as your sign up is registered in our database. If you delete your sign up (by request), your personal data will also be deleted.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us on the contact details that is shown above in point 1 and 2.If you choose to withdraw your consent, it does not affect the legality of our processing of your personal data based on your previously communicated consent and up to the time of withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, it therefore only takes effect from this point.
